Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Pickle Quest mobile application, website and related services ("Pickle Quest" or the "Service").

By creating an account, accepting these Terms in the app or otherwise using Pickle Quest, you agree to these Terms and the Pickle Quest Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You may use Pickle Quest only if you are legally permitted to enter into these Terms in your jurisdiction and meet applicable age or parental-consent requirements.

Use your own account and provide information that is accurate enough for the Service to operate. You are responsible for activity performed through your account and for keeping your device and sign-in credentials secure.

You may not sell, transfer, impersonate or misuse another player's account or identity.

Pickle Quest helps players connect for real-world pickleball. Pickle Quest does not supervise matches, courts, travel, meetups or physical activity.

You are responsible for deciding whether a player, court, event or activity is appropriate for you. Use reasonable care when meeting people, traveling to courts and participating in sport. Follow venue rules, applicable laws and appropriate health and safety precautions.

Court listings, player availability, distance, location, event details and other community information can be incomplete, outdated or inaccurate. Verify important details independently.

Pickle Quest may provide Friendly, Ranked, Singles, Doubles, tournament and other match formats. Match participants are expected to submit and confirm honest results.

Match results can affect ratings, calibration, rankings, XP, challenges, rewards, reputation, match history and other progression systems. When needed to protect fairness, Pickle Quest may validate, reject, reverse, correct, reprocess or remove results and related progression.

Timeouts, abandonment, failed confirmations, expired lobbies, emergency aborts or other incomplete sessions may be handled under the rules displayed in the app for that match type.

Do not manipulate matches, scores, ratings, calibration, rankings, rewards, challenges, XP, virtual currency, tournaments or other competitive systems.

Prohibited conduct includes collusion, fabricated matches, repeated intentional result manipulation, boosting, abuse of alternate accounts, exploitation of defects, unauthorized automation, tampering with the app or backend, or attempts to bypass security or integrity controls.

Pickle Quest may use automated and manual integrity review. An unusual pattern may be reviewed even when an individual result was initially accepted.

Treat other players with respect. You may not harass, threaten, stalk, scam, defraud, impersonate, discriminate against or abuse others through Pickle Quest.

Do not use chats, direct messages, profiles, clubs, court submissions or other features to distribute unlawful, deceptive, hateful, sexually exploitative, dangerous, malicious or rights-infringing content.

Pickle Quest may provide reporting and blocking tools. Misusing those tools, including knowingly false or malicious reports, is also prohibited.

You retain ownership of content you create, such as profile photos, messages, club content or community court photos, subject to any rights you already granted to others.

By submitting content to Pickle Quest, you grant Pickle Quest a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, process, moderate and distribute that content as reasonably necessary to operate, secure and improve the Service and make the relevant feature available to other users.

Only submit content you have the right to use. Community court submissions may be reviewed, corrected, rejected, hidden, merged or removed when they are inaccurate, duplicate, unsafe, inappropriate or otherwise inconsistent with the Service.

Pickle Quest may review reports, competitive-integrity signals, account activity and user content to protect the community.

Depending on the issue, we may issue a warning, remove content, restrict messaging, restrict Ranked play, restrict matchmaking, temporarily suspend an account or permanently restrict access.

We may reverse or remove enforcement when a review shows that an action should be changed. Serious fraud, abuse, security threats or repeated violations may result in immediate action.

PQ Coins, XP, ratings, levels, Quest Pass progress, challenges, rewards, cosmetics, themes, avatar borders, victory finishers and other virtual features are part of the Pickle Quest Service.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, virtual items and virtual currency have no cash value, are not legal tender, are not a bank balance and cannot be redeemed for cash. They are licensed for use within Pickle Quest rather than sold as personal property.

We may rebalance, correct, remove, replace or discontinue virtual features when reasonably necessary for fraud prevention, technical integrity, game balance, legal compliance or changes to the Service.

Eligible Android purchases are processed by Google Play and may also be subject to Google Play's terms and refund rules. Pickle Quest may verify purchase tokens or entitlement status before granting an in-app item or benefit.

Prices, availability and included benefits may change before a purchase is completed. Nothing in these Terms removes any consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Tournaments, clubs, seasonal systems or special events may have additional rules shown in the app. Those feature-specific rules form part of these Terms while you participate.

Hosts, officers and other community roles do not represent Pickle Quest unless we expressly say otherwise. Pickle Quest may correct or override feature state when required for security, fairness or technical integrity.

Pickle Quest, including its software, logo, interface, graphics, characters, progression systems, written content and other materials, is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

These Terms give you a limited, personal, revocable, non-transferable, non-exclusive right to use Pickle Quest for its intended purpose. They do not transfer ownership of Pickle Quest intellectual property to you.

You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to Pickle Quest, interfere with its infrastructure, extract protected data, distribute malware, defeat access controls, reverse engineer the Service except where the law expressly permits it, or use the Service in a way that damages its availability, security or integrity.

Pickle Quest depends on third-party services such as Firebase, Google services and Google Play. Those services can have their own terms, policies, outages and technical limitations.

Links or references to third-party courts, businesses, clubs or services do not automatically mean Pickle Quest endorses or controls them.

Pickle Quest is an evolving service. Features may be added, removed, redesigned, limited, temporarily unavailable or discontinued. Ratings, reward systems, matchmaking rules, challenges, seasonal content and other game systems may also change.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that every feature will always be available on every device or in every location.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pickle Quest is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that player-supplied information, court information, rankings, availability, messages or other community content will always be accurate, complete or current.

Pickle Quest is not responsible for supervising your physical participation in pickleball or for determining your fitness to play. Seek appropriate professional guidance when needed.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Pickle Quest and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from use of the Service.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights available under applicable consumer law.

You may stop using Pickle Quest at any time and may request account deletion through the process described in the Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary for violations of these Terms, safety, fraud prevention, competitive integrity, security, legal compliance or protection of other users.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including provisions about intellectual property, enforcement, disclaimers and liability—remain effective after account closure.

We may update these Terms as Pickle Quest evolves. If a change is material, we may provide notice in the app, on the website or through another appropriate channel and may ask you to accept the updated Terms before continuing to use the Service.

These Terms are subject to applicable law. Mandatory consumer, privacy and other statutory rights that apply to you remain in effect even if a provision of these Terms states otherwise.

Before commercial launch, Pickle Quest may update this section to identify the operator's formal legal entity and governing jurisdiction where required.
